A team ID is public — it is in the address of every manager’s own points page and behind every name in every league table. It is the whole of what this product ever asks of Fantasy Premier League. An account here is a separate thing from an FPL account, and it takes an e-mail address rather than a password.

What is stored

Signed out, your team ID stays in this browser — localStorage, plus one cookie so the server can render your screens on the first paint — and no account here holds it. Sign in and that changes by design: your team ID, your drafts and your settings are then kept against your account on this product’s server, so a lost phone is not a lost season — and nothing moves out of this browser until you are asked and say yes. Neither state involves your FPL password. This product never asks for one, and has nowhere to keep one.
